We are a small Miniature American (previously known as Miniature Australian Shepherd) breeder located on the high desert of north central Nevada at Battle Mountain and the farming region of southwest Idaho by Nampa. After quite a number of years having Border Collies, we decided to venture into the world of Mini Aussies, they are the perfect partner for our small operation where we raise a few Dorper sheep, Paints and Quarter Horses. Mini Aussies are a smaller version of the Standard Australian Shepherd, usually in the 13" to 18" range and weigh around 20 to 35 pounds. We do not guarantee the size of our dogs, most are 15" to 17" but occasionally they will be smaller or larger as we can only make an educated guess to their adult height.

These dogs make great companions and are personality plus, they wiggle right into your heart and become one of the family. These are busy little guys so they like to be involved and have plenty to do to keep from getting bored. They are very intelligent, easy to train and make great family dogs. This breed excels in agility, herding, flyball, obedience and make great therapy dogs. Our pups have exposure to many things around the farm including livestock and cats, they are around lots of noisy equipment, in and out of the house, introduced to visitors and children, socialized with friends dogs, visit the neighbors, crate training is started and get lots of travel time in the car or pickup before they are ready for their forever homes.

We only raise a couple of litters of quality Miniature American / Australian Shepherds every year. Our breeding dogs are show quality with great personalities to assure we raise puppies that have correct structure and a good temperaments. While we do not show much, we strive to maintain the integrity breed and have dogs that look like a full sized Aussie but in a small package. Our adult dogs are health tested or are clear by parentage for genetic diseases, they are OFA hip certified at 24 to 26 months of age and annual CERF eye exams are done to assure we only raise quality, healthy pups. Puppies have tails docked, dewclaws removed, vet checked, microchipped, current on vaccinations and on a worming protocol. Pups are evaluated for temperament and structure at 8 weeks of age. Puppies are guaranteed for 3 years against hereditary disease that we have tested for or were cleared by parentage and that is not related to age or injury. Most of our dogs are registered with AKC now as Miniature American Shepherds, some are still MASCA and/or ASA. Most of our pups are sold on a pet contract, Breed/Show pups are available via private treaty or co-owns, occasionally we offer a pup we would like to possibly keep in our program as a co-own.

If you must re-home your pup, we ask that you contact us so we can assist, we never want one of our pups to end up in a shelter or rescue.
